PLAIN-ENGLISH PRIVACY NOTICE · LAST UPDATED 23 JULY 2026
How Training Colour handles personal information
Training Colour is operated by Life Mode Fitness. This notice explains the information used by the service, why it is needed and the choices available to coaches and clients.
1. Who is responsible
The coach or coaching business that sends an assessment normally decides why the client information is used and is the data controller. Life Mode Fitness processes that information to provide Training Colour and is normally the data processor. Life Mode Fitness is the controller for coach accounts, billing, support and service-security records.
2. Information collected
Client records can include first name, email address, training experience, assessment answers, four preference scores, result, consent choice and the coach’s debrief notes. Coach records can include name, business details, email, brand settings, account activity and Stripe billing identifiers. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Training Colour.
3. Why it is used
Information is used to deliver the assessment, show and email a result, notify the coach, keep the coach’s private client record, support a coaching debrief, secure the service and manage subscriptions. Marketing consent is separate and optional.
4. Legal basis
Coaches must identify and document their own lawful basis before sending assessments. Depending on the relationship, this may include consent or legitimate interests. Life Mode Fitness relies on contract to provide coach accounts and on legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention and service improvement.
5. Sharing and international transfers
Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate Training Colour. The current list is published on the subprocessors page. Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom; appropriate contractual safeguards should be used where required.
6. Retention
Client assessment records are kept while the coach account is active and for no longer than 24 months after the last relevant coaching review unless the coach deletes them earlier or a longer period is legally required. On account closure, coaches should export required records; remaining client data is scheduled for deletion within 30 days, subject to limited legal or security backups.
7. Your choices and rights
Clients can ask their coach to access, correct, export or delete their information and may object to or restrict some uses. Coaches can export their client results and permanently delete an individual client record from the private action brief. Account-wide requests can be sent to hello@lifemodefitness.com.
8. Security and contact
Training Colour separates coach workspaces, uses protected coach access and limits public result access to the completion session. No online service can promise absolute security. Questions, complaints or requests can be sent to hello@lifemodefitness.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
This notice describes the current operational design. A qualified UK privacy professional should review it before large-scale commercial launch.
